Affluent travelers return to the same spots

Travelers earning well and having plenty of vacation options prefer to return to the same hotspots according to a study by US Tour Operators Association and reported by Travelmole. Affluent holidayers like to explore their favorite destinations in depth while lower-income groups are attracted by all-inclusive freebies like additional meals and sightseeing options.

The study is surprising because people today aspire to a vacation in Europe regardless of their income-level! At one time, the Caribbean was the hideout of celebrities and jetsetters. Cruises, for instance, were long associated with seniors and retirement travel. With vacation time becoming a precious privilege, even average joe is inclined to take risks and skip traditional destinations in favor of the unknown, unforgettable adventure.
