Business travel trends

Business travelers are feeling the stress of stringent security measures, cancellations and delayed flights according to a new Orbit survey on corporate travel. The report notes that majority of US biz travelers travel mainly within the US (so much for international business travel); China and India being the two international destinations of interest. Cities and hotels hoping to attract the corporate traveler should take the cue and step up on amenities for frayed nerves – comfort foods, healthier complimentary breakfasts, spa services and relaxation routines. Free high-speed internet access is a given (hotels cannot claim to be business-friendly while charging for broadband access!).
