The coming tourist influx from the UK

The Times of London notes that “Zoom launches LGW-JFK flights” – that’s as in Gatwick to JFK. With the plumetting of the dollar vis-a-vis Sterling, it should be a harbinger of more to come from across the pond. Historically, UK travelers have tended to be price and value conscious. That augurs well for the select segment in New York particularly given the spate of new builds coming up in the Big Apple.
