Productivity crisis in midair? no

A recent study reported by travelmole confirms what everyone already knew ..that travelers are not really interested in furthering their careers while in midair (in other words, working feverishly on presentations, meeting deadlines, pursuing leads and doing everything else that blackberry addicts and other internet warriors are famous for). The orbitz survey shows that majority of biz travelers don’t see the need to be connected at 30,000 feet. 59% also said they would use Wifi if available equally for both business and pleasure.

Consider the stresses associated with air travel today – security checks, long lines, delayed flights, getting to the airports on time during rushhour traffic, bad food or no food and it seems that business travelers can live without the added worry of midair connectivity!?
