Hospitality Survey – Exclusive experiences

A survey by small luxury hotels of the world shows leisure travelers putting a premium on superior experiences, unique, romantic properties & outdoor activities. Business travelers are thought to be price driven and practical (though surveys in the past by other companies have highlighted the indulgent, fun-loving side of biz-types too). “Life is too short for a bad hotel” sounds like a hotelier’s dream tagline but it is actually the refrain of one of the respondents! Hotels(luxury or othewise) need to take hint and add more enjoyable experiences and local flavor to their hospitality! Perhaps, the hotel of the future will no longer be a place to stay but a place to live an experience!
